As a Personal Chef my mission is to improve the quality of life for today’s fast-paced families by removing some of the frustration of meal planning, shopping, cooking and clean-up by preparing and packaging the meals right in their own home - with explicit instructions for re-heating. Healthy, spa-inspired cuisine is my specialty, while striving to meet the preferences and dietary restrictions of each client.

Opened the Saucy Shallot Personal Chef service in June 2007.
What is your primary product or service?
The Saucy Shallot is your solution to the “What’s for dinner?” dilemma! You can enjoy stress-free meal times again when your very own personal chef creates nutritionally sound, healthy spa-inspired meals that nourish the body and are all tailored to the needs of your family with regard to preferences and dietary restrictions – in your very own kitchen!! Also cater to the exclusive "Small Dinner Parties" and "Romantic Dinners" with hands-on - personalized service!
How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
The fact that I love being in the kitchen and serving nutritious/healthful meals to busy families. I had always cooked for family and friends and have been told many times that I should make it a business.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
Personalized service in the customer's own kitchen. Dietary restrictions from "low sodium" to "weight watchers" plan are available as well as menus for the preference of each family member.
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
Currently my locations are the homes of my clients - including Dinner Parties, Personal Chef Services and In-Home Cooking Classes.
